A Fresh Press for Dry Cleaner Brand
Project Description
Client: St. Croix Cleaners
St. Croix Cleaners, the largest family-owned dry cleaning company in Minnesota, suspected its brand could be more female-friendly. In recent years, the company had refurbished many of its retail locations using hunter green and dark wood. Feminine imagery focused primarily on bridal services.
While at Lola Red, Maria took the company’s suite of marketing materials and put them through the Gender Filter, identifying opportunities to develop new messaging, broaden imagery, instill a stronger call to action, while also making the overall branding consistent.
Tapping creative partner Dan Ruppert-Kan, Maria and the team developed a gender-friendly marketing campaign, supported by a style guide and templates for easy execution.
The result: a consistent, break-through-the clutter look and feel that broadly positioned the brand’s appeal
